AULD LANG SYNE

Text of traditional Scottish poem/song 'Auld Lang Syne’ ('for old times' sake'), first put on paper by Robert Burns in 1788.  Traditionally sung at midnight December 31, at the turn of the New Year.

Auld Lang Syne

Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And auld lang syne.

We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet,

And pu'd the gowans fine;
