March 7, 2020  GMack Progress Steer & Heifer Show

The show is our spring cattle show for exhibitors to see where their animals stack up against the competition as they head into 4-H shows and the summer show circuit.  Exhibitors who are 21 years old and younger are eligible to show in the Junior Show at the Progress Steer and Heifer Show. Similar to the Open Show these exhibitors are competing to see how their animals compare as they head into 4-H Shows and the Summer Show Circuit.

This very Saskatchewan saskatoon berry block party runs from 9am - 9pm. Parade at 11am, fresh saskatoon pies, continuous musical entertainment, children's games, pony rides, wagon rides, arts & crafts market, sporting activities. Food fair, beer gardens. A terrific day for the whole family. Opens with pancake breakfast at 9am.  Attendance: 5,000.

Saskatoon Prairieland Park Corporation is pleased to present this program of special competitions designed to encourage the interest and participation of Saskatchewan young people in agriculture and rural life.  This event features Light Horse, Beef, Sheep, Dairy, and "Showcase of Arts" competitions for 4-H members and additional youth. Although competition in the show ring is an exciting component of the event, strong emphasis is placed on educational opportunities, development of leadership and social skills, as well as interactive fun-filled activities.
