PICKLES

TO PICKLE CELERY
 
 
 Take good bleached celery, cut in pieces about 2 inches long, boil in water till tender. Take out and drain, then pour boiling vinegar over the celery which has been sweetened a little. Put in glass jars and it is ready for use any time.
