 Take 1 gallon of cabbage, 2 quarts of green tomatoes, 1 pint of onions, 1/2 cup of green peppers. Chop all fine, and add 1 1/2 pounds of sugar, 1 tablespoonful of mustard, 1 tablespoonful of ginger, 2 tablespoonfuls of cloves, 2 tablespoonfuls of salt, 3 tablespoonfuls of cinnamon, and 1 1/2 quarts of vinegar, Boil until cabbage is tender.
