PICKLES

CUCUMBER CATSUP
 

 Pare and grate 24 medium-sized cucumbers, also 3 onions. Strain all through cheese cloth and add to the pulp sugar, salt, pepper, and celery seed to taste. Add vinegar to make as before straining. Seal for keeping as canned fruit. Serve with meats in winter. If properly made it has the flavor of fresh cucumbers.
