SOUR CREAM SOUP
Break a slice of stale bread toast or some tea crackers into a bowl. Add about 3 tablespoonfuls of rich sour cream and a sprinkling of salt. Fill up with boiling water, give it a stir and cover closely, and let stand for a few minutes.
