DUMPLINGS & FRITTERS

APPLE DUMPLINGS #3

Take 1 quart of flour, 1 teaspoonful of salt, 2 tablespoonfuls of butter and lard, 2 teaspoonfuls of baking powder, sweet milk to make a soft dough; roll out thin, cut in pieces large enough to cover each apple; bake in a hot oven.
