CAKES AND COOKIES

GOOD PLAIN COOKIES
 
 
 Take 4 cups of white sugar, 2 cups of melted butter and lard, 4 eggs, 12 tablespoonfuls of cold water, 2 teaspoonfuls of soda, and flour to make a soft dough. Roll thin.
