 Take 2 cups of brown sugar, 1/2 cup of butter, 1/2 cup of sweet milk, 1 teaspoonful of allspice, 1 teaspoonful of cinnamon, 2 teaspoonfuls of baking powder, 2 cups of flour, yolks of 4 eggs, and the whites of 2.
