New Deli
by Stephen Blumenkranz
When you want to fill your belly, Wanting something odd or smelly, Maybe pig's feet packed in jelly, Go on down to the local deli. They've got Nova Scotia Lox, Soup that's made from tails of ox, Hot pastrami cooked in crocks, Hanging salami and fish from the docks. They've got blintzes and knishes, Many kinds of Jewish dishes. Tell the waiter what your wish is. You can bet that it's delicious. Tongue on rye to liverwurst, Here's the place you go to first. Drink cream soda if you thirst. Only here are these disbursed.
