Walthall County Dairy Festival
Tylertown, Mississippi
Always held the first Saturday in June, the all day event is staged at Holmes Water Park and attracts thousands each year. Attractions include a pageant, mooing & butter churning contests, arts & crafts, entertainment, and fireworks.

June 8, 2024  Blueberry Jubilee - Poplarville, Mississippi
The Blueberry Jubilee is an arts and crafts fair held the second Saturday in June of each year. Located in downtown Poplarville, Mississippi, the Blueberry Jubilee attracts about 10,000 visitors each year. The Jubilee features arts & crafts, storytelling, live entertainment, lots of food, and down home southern hospitality.  Attendance: 10,000.

June 15, 2024  Highland Realm Blueberry Farm Bash
Hampshire, Mississippi
From 3 to 8 pm. All natural, bio-dynamic, chemical free blueberry farm for blueberry picking, blueberry baking contest (cash prizes!), food trucks, live music, kid's zone - face painting, pony rides, Archery Tag, vendor booths, creek wading, door prizes and a whole lot MORE!!! $10 per car. Pets on leashes are welcome!

There are so many events on this day that they are too numerous to list. Virtually every community in the U.S. has a 4th of July celebration.

June 3, 2023  Annual Red, White and Blueberry Festival
Ocean Springs, Mississippi
Blueberry season is in high gear and the town of Ocean Springs sets out to stain the streets of Downtown Ocean Springs—and the teeth of festival goer’s alike—blue, during the town’s Red, White and Blueberry Festival!  Event offers an assortment of antiques, crafts, fresh produce, plenty of blueberry products, open houses for downtown businesses and much more!
 


 

July 6-8, 2023  36th Annual Slugburger Festival - Corinth, Mississippi
A one of a kind favorite, named in honor of a unique 'burger', a deep-fried beef and soy meal patty. Live entertainment, arts, crafts, carnival rides, and slugburger samplings. The carnival is located on Court Square.

July 14-15, 2023  45th Annual Mississippi Watermelon Festival
Mize, Mississippi
It's a time to eat all the watermelon you can handle, enjoy games such as seed spitting and watermelon eating contests, music, and the warm days of summer in Mize, home of world famous Smith County watermelons.

July 16, 2022  Blue Bell Ice Cream Safari with the City with Soul!
Jackson, Mississippi
11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

July 21, 2023  unWINE Downtown - Starkville, Mississippi
Three times a year — Spring, Summer & Fall — Starkville Main Street members open their doors for a ladies-only night of wine tasting and after-hours shopping with unWINE Downtown. Participating boutiques and shops serve a variety of wine and appetizer pairings. Plus, they offer at least 20% off all merchandise to unWINE Downtown ticket holders. Don’t miss the next installment of Girls’ Night Out — Starkville style!

July 27-29, 2023  Natchez Food & Wine Festival - Natchez, Mississippi
The Natchez Food and Wine Festival has become one of the most anticipated events in the area. With an agenda taking you from one remarkable experience to the next, you will find yourself constantly surrounded with some of the region's most prominent chefs and restaurants, and indulged in the finest of food, wine, and entertainment.

June 18-19, 2021 - Desoto Shrine Club 13th Annual BBQ & Steak Cook Off - Hernando, Mississippi
The event has been proclaimed by the governor of Mississippi, as a State Championship and sanctioned by KCBS.  We plan to put on a quality contest again this year in one of the most pristine environments of any BBQ Cookoff in the country. .
