MARTINI, CHOCOLATE MARTINI

Boy Eats World! A Private Chef Cooks Simple Gourmet
By David Lawrence

I've tried many versions of this drink. Some are transparent and some, like this one, are more milky-looking. They're all good, but this one happens to be my favorite. The Chocolate Martini is extremely rich—a dessert in itself.

Ingredients

1 ounce good dark chocolate, melted, for garnish
3 ounces vanilla vodka
3 ounces Godiva chocolate liqueur
2 ounces Creme de Cacao
Splash of half-and-half

Directions

Dip the rim of a martini glass in the melted chocolate and place in the freezer for several minutes to allow the chocolate to harden. Meanwhile, pour the vodka, Godiva liqueur, Creme de Cacao, and half-and-half into a cocktail shaker. Tumble in a handful of ice and shake vigorously. Strain into the chilled, chocolate-rimmed glass. Cheers!
