Serves 4.
Emu meat is available either vacuum packed or fresh.  It may be mail-ordered from individual producers or can be found at retail in specialty food stores, health food stores and retail establishments around the country.

Teriyaki Emu Steaks

    1 (16 oz.) emu pan fillet
    2/3 c. soy sauce
    ΒΌ c. salad oil
    2 Tbsp. Grandma’s unsulfured molasses
    2 tsp. ginger
    2 tsp. dry mustard
    6 cloves garlic, minced


Mix all ingredients together except for fillet.

Add fillet and marinate overnight, turning at least once.

Grill to desired doneness.

Slice and serve.
