SHORTCAKES AND PUDDINGS
PEACH FLOAT
Take 1 quart can of peaches from which the syrup has been drained, mash fine, add 1/2 cup sugar. Beat the whites of 2 or 3 eggs stiff and beat into the peaches. Bake 5 or 10 minutes; when cool serve with sugar and cream. Apples are very good served in the same way.
