PRESERVING AND CANNING
TO PRESERVE CHERRIES
Carefully seed wax cherries. Take equal parts of cherries and sugar, and make a syrup with just enough water to dissolve sugar. Let syrup come to a boil, then put in fruit and boil slowly until the syrup is ropy and fruit well preserved.
