RECIPES FOR PIES

TRANSPARENT PIE (2 recipes)
 
 
Transparent Pie #1


Take 3 eggs, 1/2 cup of butter, 1 cup of sugar, 1/2 cup of milk. Beat butter and sugar to a cream, add the yolks. Stir all together, add flavoring and milk. Bake in 2 crusts. Beat the whites of the eggs, put on top and brown slightly.

Transparent Pie #2

take 3 eggs, 1/2 glass of cream, 1 teaspoonful of lemon essence, 1 cup of butter and 2 cups of sugar. This makes 2 pies.
