RECIPES FOR PIES

TAILOR PIE
 

 Take the yolks of 4 eggs, 1 cup of sugar, 1/2 cup of butter, 1 large cup of sweet cream seasoned with nutmeg. Beat well together and bake in crusts. Beat the whites of the eggs very light and add 1/2 cup of sugar. When the pies are done, spread the beaten whites over the top, and put in oven to brown. This makes 3 pies.
