ICE CREAM AND DRINKS
PINEAPPLE SHERBET For 1 gallon of sherbet grate 2 pineapples, add the juice of 1 lemon. Sweeten with 1 1/2 pints of sugar and add sufficient water to make a gallon. Leave stand in freezer until thoroughly chilled, then turn freezer every few minutes. When about frozen, remove stirrer from can and leave stand for 1 hour. Serve in sherbet glasses.
