CAKES AND COOKIES

MADE CREAM FOR LAYER CAKE
 
 
 Take 1 cup of milk, 1/2 cup of sugar, 1 tablespoonful of flour, and flavor with vanilla. First heat the milk and sugar to boiling, then moisten the flour with cold milk and stir into the boiling milk. When partly cold, add the vanilla and spread on the cake.
