CAKES AND COOKIES

HICKORYNUT CAKE
 
 
 Take 2 cups of white sugar, 1 cup of butter, 1 cup of rich sweet milk, whites of 4 eggs, 3 1/2 cups of flour, 2 teaspoonfuls of baking powder and 4 cups of chopped nut meats. Flavor with vanilla. Bake in layers or loaf.
