CAKES AND COOKIES

GOOD GINGER COOKIES
 
 
 Take 1 cup of molasses, 1 cup of sugar, I cup of shortening, 1 tablespoonful of ginger, 1/2 cup of made coffee, 2 teaspoonfuls of soda dissolved in the coffee, flour enough to roll out. Roll medium thick and bake in a rather hot oven.
