CAKES AND COOKIES

FRUIT CAKE #1
 
 
 Take 2 cups of sugar, 1 cup of butter, 4 eggs, 1 cup of sour milk, 1 teaspoonful of soda, 1 tablespoonful each of cinnamon, allspice and cloves, 1 nutmeg, 2 pounds of raisins, 1 pound of currants and flour enough to make a stiff batter.
