CAKES AND COOKIES

CHOCOLATE CAKE
 
 
 Take 1 1/2 cups of granulated sugar, 1/2 cup of butter, 1/2 cup of milk, 4 eggs, I teaspoonful of baking powder, 1 teaspoonful of vanilla and 1 square of chocolate; dissolve chocolate in a tablespoonful of hot water and add to cake. Bake in layers and put together with icing.
