CAKES AND COOKIES

WHITE MOUNTAIN CAKE
 
 
 Take 2 cups of sugar, 2/3 cup of butter, 2 cups of flour. Mix in 2 teaspoonfuls of baking powder, 1 cup of cornstarch, 2/3 cup of sweet milk, and last put in the whites of 7 eggs well beaten. Bake in layers and put on icing and cocoanut.
