SPONGE CAKE #2
Take 1 pint of sweet milk and cream together, 2 cups of sugar, 3 eggs, well beaten together, 2 teaspoonfuls of baking powder, a pinch of salt, lemon to flavor. Stir in necessary amount of flour, sugar and baking powder together, then add milk and eggs.
