CAKES AND COOKIES
SCOTCH COOKIES Take 2 1/2 pounds of sugar, 1 1/4 pounds of butter or part lard, 4 eggs, 1/2 pint of molasses, 1 1/2 ounces of soda, and 3 3/4 pounds of flour. Flavor with allspice. Mix in rotation.
