CAKES AND COOKIES
ROUND GINGER SNAPS Take 1 cup of brown sugar, 1 cup of molasses, 1 cup of butter, 2 teaspoonfuls of ginger, 1 teaspoonful of soda dissolved in 1/4 cup of water, flour enough to make a very stiff dough. Do not roll as thin as sugar cookies, cut with a small round cutter and bake in a quick oven.
