CAKES AND COOKIES
OATMEAL CRACKERS Take 2/3 cup of sugar, 1/2 cup of butter, 1 egg, 1/2 cup of sweet milk, 1 level teaspoonful of soda, 2 cups of wheat flour, and 3 cups of oatmeal. The dough should be as stiff as it can be rolled, and if necessary add a little more milk. Roll and cut in squares, or any desired shape, and bake.
