CAKES AND COOKIES

A CHEAP CAKE
 
 
 Take 1/2 cup of butter, 2 cups of granulated sugar, 3 eggs well beaten, 1 cup of sweet milk; mix all together, then add 3 cups of flour and 3 teaspoonfuls of baking powder. Bake in loaf or layer.
