BREADS - WARM AND COLD
BISCUIT Take 1 cup sweet cream, 2 cups sweet milk, 3 teaspoonfuls of baking powder and a pinch of salt. Mix baking powder and salt first in flour. Then add cream and milk and as much flour as will make a dough stiff enough to roll out on board. Mix as little as possible. Cut out and bake at once, in hot oven, to a light brown.
