BREADS - WARM AND COLD
CORN PONE #1 Take 1 cup of white flour, 1 cup of corn meal, 1/2 cup of sugar, 2 teaspoonfuls of baking powder, lard size of a walnut, a pinch of salt. Mix the flour, baking powder, meal and sugar together; rub in the lard cold, add salt and mix with a cup of cold water. Bake in a moderate oven.
