BREADS - WARM AND COLD
ANOTHER CORN BREAD Take 1 pint sour cream, 1 pint sweet milk, 4 eggs, 1/2 cup of lard or melted suet, 1/2 pint of flour, 1 1/2 teaspoonfuls of soda, 1 tablespoonful salt, and corn meal to make a not too stiff batter. Bake in gem irons or in a cake dish with tube in the center.
