BREADS - WARM AND COLD

BUTTERMILK MUFFINS
 

 Take 2 eggs, 1 quart of buttermilk, 1 teaspoonful of soda dissolved in 1 tablespoonful of hot water, 1 teaspoonful of salt, flour enough to make a good batter. Beat the eggs well, add them to the buttermilk, then add the flour, salt, and soda. Pour in muffin pans and bake in quick oven.
